The second of two runs/walks to raise money for the Pocatello Cross Country Ski Foundation. This 6 mile course will take you to the north side of the ski area into the “upper” trails and finishes on the snowshoe trail with some pretty exciting single track. Couple this with the Nordic Center Fall Fun Run and you will have experienced the majority of the Mink Creek Cross Country Ski Area! Bundle the two races and save $10! Event Bundle

High Basin Fun Run 2025

The second in a series of two races to support the Pocatello Cross Country Ski Foundation will take place Saturday October 12th. All proceeds go to the Foundation and help to support excellent cross country skiing in Pocatello. Walkers will start at 8:30 and runners will start at 9.

This 6.4 mile loop will take you to the high point of the Nordic ski area and provide stunning views of the surrounding area. After running all of the upper ski trails, the course finishes on the upper snow shoe trail and, combined with the Nordic Center Fun Run, exposes you to almost the entire ski area!

Pre-registration is only $25 and closes on October 9th.

Day of registration is $35 and starts at 8 AM and closes at 8:45 AM. Walkers will start at 8:30 and runners will start at 9.
