Tour de Tow 2024

The Tour de Tow 2024 is back for our Fall ride! Cultivating a healthy lifestyle and love for cycling! Pre-registration is Recommended. Hats off for the 15th year to Road & Trail Bicycles for their continued support and sponsorship of the Tour de Tow AND the Blooming Bike Ride. We appreciate it more than you know. We are LOVING staging BOTH rides now at the FABO Front Page Brewing!! We are thankful to Johnnie and Bill, as they are the perfect Hosts! If you haven't ridden with us before, the Tour de Tow scenic road tour features a 17-mile family fun ride and 35-mile and 65-mile road tours. Ride along and experience our tranquil countryside, and settle into some hometown cycling hospitality when you return from your ride here in Beautiful Bartow. Registration is at 7 a.m., with an 8 a.m. ride start. Main Street Bartow, Inc. and Bartow Cycling Events are dedicated to promoting the quality of life in Bartow using various cycling events, which currently include the Bloomin' Bike Ride in March and the Tour de Tow in September. Our objective is to promote Bartow as an active community that fosters and encourages a healthy lifestyle and a love of cycling. This year's T-SHIRTS run pretty true to size, so order accordingly. We will not be able to change sizes on the event day. THERE WILL BE NO EXTRA SHIRTS, SO SIGN UP TO SECURE A SHIRT. RIDE SUPPORT! Yes, every route has a SAG vehicle following to be there in case you need us. It will have drinks, snacks, tubes, and a pump. Everyone will receive a ride map with a number for emergencies or problems. REST STOPS - Of course! The "Barn," which everyone LOVES, and Mosaic Boardwalk, which is a county park boardwalk on the Peace River. If you have any requests for "food fuel" for the rest stops, please let me know. We aim to please: We WILL have dill pickles, PBJs (I sneak one or two of these myself), bananas, coke, Gatorade, Water, cookies, and what else???? FOOD? Absolutely! I love trying to get you guys the best food from our favorite restaurants here in Bartow. Parking is in the Oaks Parking lot just south of the staging area. GPS address is 220 S.
