Event Information

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES THURSDAY AT 7PM. REGISTRATION RE-OPENS AT 7AM RACE DAY. 5th Annual Fast Times 5K Run/Walk Benefiting the Clairemont Hills Kiwanis. Fast Times 5K is a fun, fast run/walk great for all ages and athletic abilities! This community run at De Anza Cove, Mission Bay benefits the Clairemont Hills Kiwanis, which supports the students in public schools in the community of Clairemont. Following the 5K, the Clairemont Day at the Bay family activities will begin. This event is an interactive look at all that is happening in the Clairemont community and is open to all.

Event Day Timeline

Registration/Check-in: 7:00 AM

5K Run Begins: 8:00 AM

*Competitive and timed runners in the first wave, walkers and un-timed runners please start in the second wave.

Awards

All finishers will receive a custom designed medal. Top 3 overall Male/Female finishers will receive an award for their achievement. We will also be giving awards for the top 3 Male/Female finishers in their age category in intervals of 10.

School teams of 5 or more will qualify for the High School, Middle School and Elementary competition. The school with the fastest average time will receive a trophy for their accomplishment.

Results

This race has a timed and an un-timed option. Please select the "Timed 5K" option if you want to be able to see your race results and compete in your age and/or school category. There is an un-timed option for those who do not want to track their time or qualify for awards.

Directions

Take the 5 Fwy to Clairemont Dr. exit. Head west one block to Mission Bay Dr. Turn right and go 1 mile to De Anza Cove. There are two large parking lots and plenty of parking!

Volunteer

Whether you're an army of one or many, we want you to be a part of the fun too! We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic, fun-loving individuals that want to give back while having fun. The event will benefit the Clairemont Hills Kiwanis. Experience the race first hand and make friends with other volunteers at the event!

Volunteer Opportunities:

Saturday, April 8, 2017 @ De Anza Cove: Race Day duties include start and finish line assistance, course management, water stations, bag check, cheering on participants and other key tasks to ensure the Fast Times 5K is a success!
