$500 Cash Prize if the OA Male winner breaks Pat Peterson’s course record of 30:27 (1988); $500 Cash Prize if the OA Female winner breaks Leonora Petrina’s course record of 33:39 (2014).

Awards to top 3 M & F in Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 plus

COURSE

USATF Certied 10K (6.2 miles) through suburban streets and rolling

countryside. Nassau County Police trac control. Splits every mile and recorded 5K time.


DIRECTIONS

 H.B. Mattlin MIddle School,100 Washington Ave., Plainview, NY

FROM L.I.E : Exit 46 (Sunnyside Blvd.) South to Manetto Hill Road, left on Manetto Hill Road, about one mile to the left (just past Mid Island Y) onto Washington Avenue. Mattlin is about 1/4 mile on the right.

FROM SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY: Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway (Route 135) north to Plainview Road. Proceed on Plainview Road about one mile, across Old Country Road where Plainview Road becomes Manetto Hill Road. Take the rst

right after crossing Old Country Road onto Washington Avenue. Mattlin is about 1/4 mile on the right.

Parking available at Plainview Community Park and Kennedy High School, with limited parking available in the “Y” parking lot across Washington Ave. from Mattlin. Please arrive early to allow ample time to get to the start.
