The JoA is fully supported by the best support crew ever assembled.  Every 25-30 miles there are fun-filled, nutrition-filled rest stops with all manner of sustenance, including, but not limited to; pbj, pb/banana, fluffernutters, turkey sandwiches, Peanut M&M’s, Gatorade, water, Coca-Cola, sports/power bars of all shapes/sizes, hard-boiled eggs, salt!, pickles, Lay’s potato chips, and at select rest stops (burgers!, bacon/egg/cheese sandwiches).

We ride from Ivy, VA to Ashland, VA on Day 1 at around 103 miles and 5,800 feet of gain.  We start at 0530 on Saturday, June 8, 2024.  We overnight at a select hotel in Ashland, rehydrate and have a celebration on Saturday, and pass out the coveted Sunday jersey.  We ride back from Ashland, VA to Ivy, VA another 106 miles and 6,200 feet of gain.  We finish with a family friendly “party at Yeti’s” on Sunday and jump in his pool.
