Event Information
The River Ellis Foundation is excited to partner with J&A Racing for their annual Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend 2023! The River Ellis Foundation is a local nonprofit that helps families in the midst of unexpected tragedy in meaningful ways. With a typical response time of less than 24 hours, they help bridge the gap by providing short-term, immediate financial assistance for families until a longer-term solution can be put into place. From the family who lost everything in a fire to the baby given only months to live to the father of 5 who died unexpectedly; nobody can be prepared for tragedy, and nobody should have to do it alone. That’s why the mission of The River Ellis Foundation is to Give A Sunrise to those in the midst of their darkest hour. 100% of money raised stays in Hampton Roads, helping our local community shine a little brighter.
