Fundraise for a Cause: Help Children with Disabilities When you register for the Team Allied Services 5K Run or Walk, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by fundraising to help children with disabilities. Your participation and support directly contribute to providing essential programs and services that enhance these children's and their families' lives. 5K Run The 5k is open to runners of all ages. It begins at 9:00 a.m. on the track at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Scranton. This out-and-back course takes you along the paved Lackawanna Heritage Trail before ending on the track at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The course is stroller and wheelchair-friendly. Overall and age-category awards for runners. 2-Mile Walk The 2-mile walk is open to participants of all ages. It begins at 9:00 a.m. on the track at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Scranton. This out-and-back course takes you along the paved Lackawanna Heritage Trail before ending on the track at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The course is stroller and wheelchair-friendly. Awards will be presented to the fastest male and female. All proceeds benefit children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services. Team Allied Services exercise shirts and raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event. The stadium and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Please join us in cheering on our patients and residents as they mark their recovery or rehab milestones. Following the 5k and awards ceremony, the All-Abilities Walk will start at approximately 10:00 a.m. It is completely free, open to all ages and abilities, and no registration is required.
