Part of the RACE-MANIA programming line-up, attendees of this entertaining and enlightening 60 minute session with elite ultra runner Mike Wardian will learn how Mike is able to train and race as frequently as he does and as well as he does while balancing the demands of a family, a job and life in general.
About Mike Wardian

Michael Wardian is an American marathoner and ultra-marathoner. In addition to a lengthy list of podium finishes at marathons, half-marathons, 50k /100k and 100 Mile races, Michael has set world records for the fastest marathon and also 50K on an indoor 200-meter track and dressed as Elvis. 2016 was an incredible year with a 47 events and multiple wins and records including setting the fastest ever time for all the Abbott World Marathon Majors consisting of the Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon, London Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Chicago Marathon, New York Marathon in an average time of 2:31:09. In March 2015, he also set the World Record for the fastest 50K on a treadmill (at the Hoka One One Sales Meeting in May 2015 after having set the World Record on a Spartan Race Cruise).

In 2017 Mike shattered the world record for the World Marathon Challenge (7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents) with a sub-3 hour marathon in all 7 events.

This workshop takes place at the Boston University Fit Rec Center located at 915 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of your workshop
