HONOR GAMES (Strong and Courageous)

On March 11th, 2017, The New Guy Code, we will be hosting an obstacle course competition for middle school students. We are inviting all Dad's of middle school students to join us for a fun and meaningful afternoon with your children.

The Honor Games are rooted in the values of The New Guy Code, which teaches boys to honor and respect girls and girls to value themselves.  Boys are taught to appreciate the unique nature of women and encouraged to interact with them with honor and respect. Girls are also challenged to view themselves with a greater level of respect and are challenged to consider how their actions can affect their male counter-parts.

These values are reinforced through a series of obstacle course competitions. These “fun” elements encourage face-to-face interactions opposed to modern age social interactions. Boys and girls are taught how to interact with the opposite sex in a humanistic rather than sexual manner.

The games are part of one of our programs, “8 Years in 8th Grade”, which stemmed from the idea that the defining time in a young persons’ life happens between the ages of 14 and 22, the period when they mature the most, both physically and mentally, and begin to have their first significant interactions with the opposite
sex.

Note: While we are calling on dad's in particular to join us for this event, we welcome all who would like to attend either with or in place of a dad. We encourage all to join us for this event.  We will have a host of celebrity guests and athletes in attendance.  Updates Coming Shortly!
