When you sign up for our Walk Anywhere Program you are also signing up for our awareness challenge: 

• A major pillar of our foundation is to spread awareness about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. 1 in 78 is a woman’s lifetime risk for ovarian cancer and there is NO accurate screening test for this disease. The only way we can protect women everywhere is by spreading awareness about the signs and symptoms of this disease. Whether you have a personal connection with ovarian cancer or you just want to help save lives, the awareness challenge is a significant and fun way to help us with our mission. 

This is NOT to be confused with the In-Person Walk option taking place on the day of the event at Wayne Bunker Family Park. 

The cost of registration for the Walk Anywhere Package includes:

• A customized Brooklyn T.E.A.L.® T-shirt
• Virtual goodie bag
• Customizable bib with opportunity to put your loved ones photo and name on it
• Educational tools to help you spread awareness about ovarian cancer
• Guided meditation on how to walk with purpose

The T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run™ Program includes Walk/Run events that celebrate the courage of ovarian cancer survivors and the strength of the families who’ve been touched by the disease, while spreading awareness to the public and raising money for research. These annual events takes place during September’s National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in Brooklyn, NY and other locations across the USA. Learn more information and see our locations here. 

All members of the general public are encouraged to attend this amazing event. Whether or not you are participating as an individual, or with a team, all are welcomed and encouraged to support a great cause in honor or in memory of your loved one. If you would like to join or start a team, you will be prompted at the end of the registration process to do so. 

5K Runners: 

If you raise $500 by August 15th you can get your 5K Run Registration fee refunded. 

If you raise $1,000 by September 12th you'll receive an exclusive Tell Every Amazing Lady® baseball hat!

Walk Anywhere Participants: 

If you raise $500 by September 12th you or your loved one will be featured on our website. 

If you raise $1,000 by September 12th you'll receive an exclusive Tell Every Amazing Lady® baseball hat!

Tell Every Amazing Lady® elevates women’s health through ovarian cancer resources and beyond. We offer women’s health and wellness services, including public awareness and education of the signs, symptoms and risk factors of ovarian cancer, provide support to those impacted by the disease and raise funds for research in order to find a screening test and a cure.

A Tell Every Amazing Lady® Survivor is anyone who has ever been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in their lifetime. We honor these "Amazing Ladies" and invite them to participate in our T.E.A.L.® Survivor Ceremony. Make sure to check off on your registration form if you are an ovarian cancer Survivor and receive special survivor perks on the day of the Walk/Run.
