Pacifico Down River R2 Raft Sprint

This competition is capped at 30 teams. Before registering, make sure you and your teammate discuss who will register first. The first person to register is the team captain and will pay the entire registration fee. The captain will send an invitation to the teammate during the registration process, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER UNTIL YOU HAVE A TEAMMATE CONFIRMED. Before you begin the registration process, make sure you have your teammate's e-mail address. PLEASE DO NOT BOTH REGISTER INDIVIDUALLY, as we will not know that you are teammates and you'll take up an extra entry. Both teammates must register by June 1, 2019. Hyside Mini Max rafts will be provided. Teams will not be permitted to compete in any other craft.

Identical in format to the Down River Kayak and SUP Sprints, the Down River R2 Raft Sprint is a four-mile raft race (two person rafts) on the Class II/III whitewater of Gore Creek from East Vail to the Covered Bridge in Vail Village. With a rally race format, rafters drop at timed intervals and teams will be racing against the clock. Rafts will be provided for competing teams (but you can bring your own paddle, if you want).
