Expect some steep competition during 30 minutes of uphill/downhill running on Pepi’s Face in Vail.
A 30-minute uphill/downhill dash. Run 860-foot laps on the legendary tourist trap, Pepi’s Face on Vail Mountain. When the timer hits 30, the horn blows, and it’s a mad sprint to the finish! The speedsters with the most completed laps wins.
Pepi’s Face-Off will also be the 2019 GMC Ultimate Mountain Challenge‘s final event. Stick around post-race to see who will be crowned male & female UMC champion and take home the largest prize pack in Mountain Games history!
