Part of the RACE-MANIA line-up of clinics and workshop, this indoor stationary cycling clinic includes an intensive investigation of posture, alignment, biomechanics and riding position strategies. Participants learn how to increase their cycling performance, endurance, efficiency, stability, comfort and enjoyment without increasing their effort!
Description
Efficient cycling technique begins with a dynamic and harmonious relationship between you and your bike. This indoor stationary cycling clinic starts with an intensive investigation of posture, alignment, biomechanics and riding position strategies. You will increase your cycling performance, endurance, efficiency, stability, comfort and enjoyment without increasing your effort! Then apply your new found kinetic intelligence to an interval set that focuses on neuromuscular training. Transform your cycling training with this new and original approach heralded as the Total Immersion/Chi running equivalent in cycling Zendurance Cycling!
What you will learn
Attendees of this workshop will learn how to:

  • Correct posture and alignment to optimize pelvic core engagement and stability 
  • Increase endurance, efficiency, speed, comfort and enjoyment through improved technique. 
  • Optimize training on a stationary bike for improved performance this season. 
What to bring
This class takes place in the Spin Room at the BU Fit Rec Center and spin bikes will be available for your use, however, you can maximize the learning of this class by bringing your own bike. All participants should wear cycling clothes and shoes and bring a towel and water bottle. 
About your instructor
This clinic will be led by Shane Eversfield, Founder & Head Coach Zendurance Cycling. Shane is a USAT Level I Triathlon Coach, a Serotta Certified Advanced Bike Fit Technician, a certified Total Immersion Swim Master Coach, a practitioner of Tai Chi for over 35 years and author of "Zendurance, a Spiritual Fitness Guide for Endurance Athletes". Location
This clinic take place in Spin Room inside the Boston University Fit Rec Center located at 915 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of your clinic. Participants may use the BU Fit Rec lockers.
Refund Policy
Refunds are not allowed, but if for some reason you are unable to participate you may contact Event Management about transferring your registration to another athlete.
