The 18th Annual Glen Arbor Women’s Club Running Bear Run returns

CHIP TIMED!! Rain or Shine

Where: Lake St. Glen Arbor, MI (in front of Cherry Republic)

When: 5K Run/Walk begins at 9:00 a.m. Kid’s ½ Mile Run begins at 9:05 a.m.

Cost: 5K $25 Race Day $30 Kid’s Run $5

In-person Pre-Registration and Bib Pick-up

When: Monday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Glen Arbor Township Hall 6394 W. Western Ave

Runners can pick-up pre-registered bibs and T-shirts and/or register

for the Race at pre-race price $25/ Kid’s $5. Credit Card, Cash or Check

Race day Bib Pick-up and Registration

Where: Race Venue- Lake St. near Cherry Republic

When: Tuesday, July 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:55 a.m.

Racers can pick-up their already purchased bibs at the Pre-Registration tables

at the entrance of the Race Venue at the North end of Lake St.

Race Day Registration- fill out race form and take to Registration tables to collect

bib and make payment. $30 for 5K; $5 for Kid’s Run. Credit Card, Cash

Prizes for the Kids

Children in the Kid’s Run receive a ribbon and coupon for an ice cream cone from

Cherry Republic


Medals by age/ gender


10 and under,11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-

59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and above

Each Medal winner will receive a gift from Cherry Republic and a free kayak rental

for First place and a free bike rental for Second place from the Crystal River

Recreational District in Glen Arbor.


AFTER-RUN TREATS AND WATER FOR ALL


Plus All Runners will receive a $5 coupon good for mini golf or meal from


The River Club in Glen Arbor good through July 29.


The race is sponsored by the Glen Arbor Women’s Club. 90% of the proceeds

from the race provide scholarships for Glen Lake school Seniors with the

remainder going toward other community charitable organizations.
