Free Kid and Teen Yoga

Class is intended 7-12 years old yogi's. It is not appropriate for children under 7. Items to bring to yoga class: All classes will be outdoors on grass with little to no shade. Limited mats will be available. If your child owns a mat, please bring it! Don’t forget to also bring: sunscreen, water, layers and a hat or visor. Inclement weather: Classes are dependent on weather. Please bring sunscreen and plenty of water. In the case of very inclement weather, there is the possibility of rescheduling or canceling class.

Expanding minds and maturing bodies come together through independent and group activities that stimulate preteens physical strength, emotional balance and self-confidence.

Classes integrate traditional Yoga poses, flowing sequences, breathing exercises, deep-relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self-reflection. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the physical and philosophical aspects of Yoga.
