Day-of Registration
You will be able to register online at the event on November 18th. If you are planning to do so, please arrive by 7:00 am. Registration will close at approximately 7:50 a.m.

About

Enjoy a 5k through Zoo Miami with family and friends in support of the Children's Bereavement Center. Walk, run, or race for a goal time with official timing provided by Split Second Timing. The Kids Fun Run obstacle course (Ages 2 to 7) returns for its' fourth year and each tiny racer will receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal!


We encourage individuals to create a TEAM in memory or honor of someone. Each person on your team can individually fund raise for your TEAM as well. We encourage every TEAM to have a goal of $1,000 = Sponsor a Child to attend the CBC for 1 year!

Let's make this the best Steps yet!

How Your Support Helps Grieving Families

The Children's Bereavement Center provides free peer support groups to children, teens, adults and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

  • No cost to participate
  • Separate groups for children, young adults, parents and adult caregivers
  • Open to anyone who has lost a parent, sibling, grandparent, relative or friend
  • Peer support groups meet in the evening, each week, throughout the school year

This event allows the CBC to continue its mission to provide these services.
