Event Information
The Florida Panthers are holding a 5K race and 1 Mile run/walk to support the NHL’s Hockey Fights Cancer initiatives. A portion of all race registrations will be given to the Florida Panthers Foundation. The 5K race will begin at 8:00 AM with race packet pick-up on site starting at 7:00 AM. The 1 Mile Peggy Ziady Memorial Family Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:45 AM. All registered racers will receive 1 ticket to the Florida Panthers vs. Detroit Red Wings game on October 20th, or 1 ticket to the Florida Panthers vs. Edmonton Oilers game on November 8th.
Race Packages Include
- A ticket to the October 20th game vs. Detroit Red Wings or a ticket to the November 8th game vs. the Edmonton Oilers
- A Finisher’s medal for the 5K
Race Day Schedule
6 am – Parking lots open
7 am – Packet Pick-up Begins
8 am – 5K begins
8:45 am – 1 Mile Peggy Ziady Memorial Fun Run/Walk begins
Parking
Parking will be available at the BB&T Center at no cost for the race. All vehicles must be moved by noon to prepare for the Panthers Hockey game that evening.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds, transfers or credits for this race. This event will be held rain, shine or snow.
Registrants cannot change race event once they have completed registration.
