Part of the RACE-MANIA programming line-up, Ironstrength teaches athletes of all ages how to build strength and reduce the aches and pains of every day life in the process. Dr. Metzl will teach you the keys of functional movement and preventive strengthening, all with some great tunes and plenty of huffing and puffing. You’ll hate it, and then you’ll love it.
About Your Instructor

Dr. Jordan Metzl MD is a nationally recognized sports medicine physician, best selling author, and fitness instructor who practices at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, voted annually as the top orthopedic hospital in the United States by US News and World Reports. Selected annually by New York Magazine as one of New York’s top sports medicine doctors, Dr. Metzl sees athletic patients of all ages at locations in New York City and the HSS satellite office in Stamford, Connecticut.

Known for his passion for sports and fitness, Dr. Metzl’s focus is to return athletes to their field of their choice as quickly and safely as possible. His goal is to help athletes of all ages achieve their highest level of performance and success. He is a 31x marathon runner and 12x Ironman triathlete and his Ironstrength workout has been featured on NBC’s Today show, National Public Radio, Runner’s World magazine and The New York Times.

This workshop takes place at the Boston University Fit Rec Center located at 915 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of your workshop
