Event Information
Kick off the fall season with Fitness 101.3, TeamFootWorks' 7 week beginner-friendly training program designed to help you complete a 5K while building healthier habits. Whether you're new to exercise or getting back into a routine after summer, this program will help you build fitness, boost energy, and improve your overall well-being.
Fitness 101.3 is the final of our yearly series and the perfect way to train for the Waterford 5K on November 5th , a Turkey Trot, or any fall race you have your eye on.
Our Training Method
We use an easy, proven run/walk method to help you build endurance safely and confidently. Instead of running the full 3.1 miles at once, we break the workout into short manageable intervals. These short intervals give you the time to recover, catch your breath, and stay strong throughout the workout.
At the start of the program, you might run for 1 minute and then walk for 1 minute, for a total of 15 minutes. Each week, we'll gradually increase the running time and overall duration. By the end of the program, you'll be able to run/walk comfortably for 40-45 minutes, which is perfect for completing a 5K.
Not a runner? We also offer a walking-only group! Walkers skip the interval breaks, and simply walk the disance for the week. No pressure, no pace requirements... just movement and support.

Meets: Mondays & Wednesdays
Time: Meet at 6:15pm, Warm-ups begins promptly at 6:30pm

Parking: Curbside metered parking is available, as well as a nearby garage (7300 SW 57th Ct.) and an uncovered lot.

Heat Warning
South Florida Temperatures and humidity can run high. Please drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids 48 hours before, during, and after training. Wear proper running attire and be aware of signs of heat injury (dizziness, lack of sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, etc.). Seek immediate assistance if symptoms occur.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: TeamFootWorks reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or modify training due to weather or emergencies. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.
Refund Policy: Registration fees are non-refundable.
