Ghosts in the Oaks Virtual 5K
Friends of City Park is excited to announce our second virtual 5K of the year, the Ghosts in the Oaks 5K!
What is the Ghosts in the Oaks Virtual 5K? It’s a way to safely experience the beauty of City Park and stay active with the camaraderie of Friends of City Park members and supporters.
We know not everyone can make it to New Orleans City Park on October 24th – November 1st to run among the live oaks. So, feel free to run your favorite course or ours.
Although not mandatory for you to earn your official Ghosts in the Oaks 5k finisher medal, we encourage you to run in costume and take a photo to share with us and our social media following.
Participants will register through our online race registration platform. The registration fee is $30 and includes a race bib and a finishers medal.
The Course
Runners must complete the 5K route of their choice or use our route in New Orleans City Park during the week of October 24 - November 1. After you have completed your 5K route, submit your official time, and you will receive your Ghosts in the Oaks medal by mail within three weeks.
