Part of the RACE-MANIA Summit and Expo programming line-up, this workshop is a "must attend" for anyone preparing to run in the 2018 Boston Marathon. This is not a workshop about training for Boston, but will cover what you need to know leading up to and through the big day.
Overview

Having a successful race experience at the Boston Marathon is about more than just proper training (though that's pretty important too!). Attend this session to learn the Do's and Don'ts for a successful Boston Marathon experience including:

  • Race week logistics
  • Proper carbo-loading
  • An in depth course break down
  • Post-race recovery
  • and more!
Your presenter

This information session will be led by Ian Nurse, founder of Wellness in Motion Boston and chiropractor for the the John Hancock Invited Elite Runners of the Boston Marathon. An avid runner and member of the Boston Athletic Association., Ian has completed 22 marathons including 9 Bostons and owns a personal best marathon time of 2:25.
