Event Information
A triathlon bike is not a road bike for good reason. From aerodynamics to muscular performance, a proper bike fit that puts your needs as an individual athlete first is the number one equipment based performance and comfort variable that affects your bike split. In this RACE-MANIA workshop led by Ian Buchanan, founder of Fit Werx, Rider First Bike Fitting, Rider Matched Bike Sales, Ian will discuss bike fit variables that affect all types of riding and then drill deeper on how and why an aerobar specific triathlon position is unique and how to achieve and develop a good aero position.
What you will learn
Attendees of this workshop will learn:
  1. Fundamental physiological variables to take into account in your riding position.
  2. How a triathlon and a road riding position are similar and how they are different and why.
  3. Key joint angle ranges (positioning fundamentals) for a comfortable and efficient aero position.
Just for attending
Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for a drawing for a pair of Corima Carbon Wheels and coupons for $25 off a Fit Werx fitting will be available as well.
