This is Southern Utah's longest running half marathon. This spectacular race is on paved city trails that wind along the Virgin River and take you through the beautiful landscape of St. George

There will be no Packet Pick- up Saturday morning. If you can not pick up your packet at the Expo on Friday, Please email races@sgcity.org to make arrangements. There will be no bib assignments the morning of the race.

EXPO The expo will be held at the Dixie Convention Center on Friday, the 13th, from 1:00pm - 8:00pm
SWAG Every participant will receive a high-quality, gender-specific race shirt. Medals are provided to all participants who cross the finish line.
TRANSFER & DEFERRAL POLICY We understand that things come up, which is why we try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. We allow runners to transfer between distances (Half to 10K or to 5K), defer to another event or defer to next year.
AID STATIONS Will be located at approximately mile 3,6,8.5, and 10.8 for the half marathon and mile 3,6 for the 10k and 1.5 for the 5k. All aid stations will be supplied with electrolyte drink, water, and basic first aid supplies. Additionally, various aid stations will be supplied with GU Energy Gels. CLOTHING RETRIEVAL Any clothing that is left at aid stations or along the course will be considered a donation to charity. We recommend putting your clothing in your bag and leaving at the clothing retrieval area at the start/finish line.
TIME LIMITS Road closures will be lifted based on a 4 hour half marathon time. Any runners still on the course after the rolling cut-off times may continue to proceed along the course route to the finish area, but aid station and traffic control support will not be available. This is equivalent to a 16:40/ mile pace.
WEATHER Although we cannot predict the weather, we can provide some historical weather averages for the area on the date of the race:

We highly recommend that you come prepared for cold temperatures at the start line by layering and then shedding your layers to put in your drop bag just before the race begins. RESULTS Your results will be available shortly after you cross the finish line. Results will also be posted online as soon as possible after the race.
AWARDS Will be 3 persons deep in each 10-year age category for both Men and Women in the Half Marathon, 10k, and 5K. All participants who finish will receive a finisher medal.

I can't run the race anymore, can I have a refund?
Refunds are NOT available but Deferrals/Transfers are. Before your race date you can transfer your registration to a different race or defer to next year's race. Please note: Your deferral will expire one year after the date you defer. The fee for deferrals/transfers is $5
Can I bring my stroller on the course?
Strollers are allowed on the course as long as you are respectful and courteous of other runners around you.
Are Dogs allowed on the course?
Dogs are not permitted on any of our courses with the exception of service dogs.
Will clothing retrieval be provided?
Any items left on the course will NOT be guaranteed to return back to you. Clothing retrieval will be available at the start line ONLY.
