 s at beautiful Zoo Miami. What started as a community race has grown into 
 a powerful movement supporting homeless and rescued animals throughout Sou
 th Florida.\nThe 2026 event brought together more than  250 runners\, walk
 ers\, volunteers\, and animal lovers\, raising awareness for animal welfar
 e and finding loving homes for many adoptable animals. In 2027\, we're bui
 lding on that success with an even bigger celebration of compassion\, comm
 unity\, and second chances.\nWhether you're chasing a personal record\, en
 joying a walk with family and friends\, or simply supporting a meaningful 
 cause\, every participant helps provide critical resources for animals in 
 need. Proceeds from the event support veterinary care\, food programs\, re
 scue efforts\, spay and neuter initiatives\, and adoption services that di
 rectly improve the lives of animals across Miami-Dade County.\nParticipant
 s will enjoy a scenic course through Zoo Miami\, a festive finish-line cel
 ebration\, opportunities to meet adoptable pets\, and the chance to be par
