COURSE
The Five Mile Run for ELIJA is a USATF sanctioned event over a USATF certified course, covering scenic rolling roads, with water views, through beautiful Huntington, Halesite and Huntington Bay.
DIRECTIONS
WEST: Long Island Expressway to Exit 44 (Route 135). Take 135 North to Jericho Turnpike. Head east on Jericho Turnpike to Left onto Woodbury Road. Take Woodbury Road to Main Street (Route 25 A) in Downtown Huntington. Right onto Main Street; left onto Huntington Bay Road, and immediate Right onto Melody Lane and left onto Flower Hill Road. School is 1
mile down Flower Hill Road on your right.
FROM EAST: Northern State Parkway or Long Island Expressway to Deer Park Road north (Exit 51 on LIE; Exit 42 on Northern State). BeAr left immediately north of Northern State to stay on Deer Park Road, which becomes Park Avenue when you cross Jericho Turnpike. Stay on Park Avenue north to Main Street (Route 25A) in downtown Huntington. Right onto Main Street; left onto Huntington Bay Road, and immediate Right onto Melody Lane and left onto Flower Hill Road. School is 1 mile down Flower Hill Road on your right.
NOTE: There is only LIMITED PARKING at the Flower Hill School, and many of you will need to park on the street, but please do NOT park on Flower Hill Road between Atlanta Drive and Charleston Drive, and please do NOT park on Golf Lane. We strongly encourage car pooling.
