Join us for an evening 5K on a beautiful course through the Waterford Business District that includes lakes and fountains.

After Party Experience

We are already known for our amazing POST-RACE ENTERTAINMENT and since this is a nighttime event, bring your coolest LED and GLOW gear. We’ve got some to give away, but bring your own and make it special!

Our entertainment will include:

Two DJS – One at the at the race start and our headliner on our stage.
Giant LED screen with LED lighting throughout.
Rides area with options for most ages.
Food and market style vendors.
And a few more suprises!

So come to Walk or Run – Just be prepared to STAY for the FUN!

The Waterford 5K will be held on Thursday November 2nd, 2023. Race starts at 6:45 PM.

$35 through August 31st

$40 through September 30th

$45 through October 31st

$50 November 1st and November 2nd (Race Day)

GENDER SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE SHIRT

The first 1,200 are guaranteed to receive our custom, sublimated, premium tech shirt. All race entrants will receive our commemorative t-shirt.

RACE WARMUP

Get your body ready to run with a 10-minute Warm Up before the race starts.

RUNNERS BLING

All race finishers receive a custom designed, full color, die struck medal with custom matching ribbon.

Grand Champions

The top overall Men and Women finishers receive custom embossed glass trophies and gift certificates from our vendor partners.

AGE GROUP AWARDS

The top 3 finishers in EVERY AGE GROUP receive a large sized custom medal that will be the envy of others.

CORPORATE TEAM TENTS

Tents are a great place to meet your team, serve post-race refreshments, and celebrate after the race!

Tent Rental includes a banner with Company Name, table, and chairs with the option of purchasing additional tables and chairs. There are several size tents to choose from: 10x10, 10x20 and 20x20. Prices start at $500.

PACKET PICKUP

Packet pickup will begin October 26th at the FootWorks Store in South Miami (5724 Sunset Dr.)

Monday - Friday 10am - 630pm

Saturday 10am - 430pm.

Sunday 12pm - 330pm.

Race Day Packet Pickup will be available Nov. 2nd at Noon at the TeamFootWorks Registration Tent.

HEAT WARNING

Temperature/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids (non-alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms (dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light colored clothing.

EVENT BENEFICIARY

Proceeds from the Waterford 5K will go to Holtz Children's Hospital. Holtz Children's Hospital is one of the largest children's hospitals in the southeast United States. Located at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, they are known worldwide for their team of pediatric specialists experienced in treating children with all types of needs - from routine care to life-saving procedures. They also train the most pediatric physicians of any medical center in the southeastern United States.

REGISTRATION TRANSFER POLICY

At TeamFootWorks, we know life doesn’t always work out as planned. That’s why we want to be one of the first race production companies to offer free registration transfers! If you cannot make the Waterford 5K for any reason, contact us at 305.666.7223 or email waterford@teamfootworks.org to transfer your registration to a friend or family member. Please have their first name, last name, and email address ready.

The deadline to complete transfers is October 20th, 2023

Refund Policy

Entry fees for the Waterford 5K are not refundable under any circumstance, this includes event cancellation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Race Management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to events out of Management's control such as a natural disaster or other emergencies. Management may also alter the course and distances for the safety of the athletes.
