If you registered by Sunday, March 5, your race bib was mailed to you. Only go to the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent with questions or if you did not receive your bib in the mail - it will be open 8:30-9:30 AM.

If you registered after Sunday, March 5, pickup your race bib at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent - it will be open 8:30-9:30 AM. To speed up your bib pick-up experience, log in to your haku participant account and download or print your own unique Check-in Pass before you get in line. The pass can be downloaded and saved in your phone images or Apple Wallet, or printed out. 

Your St. Paddy’s themed knit socks will be available for pick up at the SWAG tent before or after the event.
Please note: No baggage check available on race day.
The race starts and finishes outside Kinsmen Brewing Company, 409 Canal St, Milldale, CT 06467. DIRECTIONS

As the following designated parking areas fill, volunteers and staff will direct you to other available options:
  • Kinsmen Brewing Company: No exit will be permitted from this lot before 11:00 AM.
  • St. Aloysius Church (254 Burritt Street, Plantsville, CT 06479).
  • AMC Southington 12 Theatre (1821 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, Southington, CT 06489)Please park in the rear lot of the movie theater as directed by volunteers.
Kinsmen Brewing Company and race services are a short walk from church/theater parking areas, please arrive early.

Please bring nonperishable food donations to the HMF Can tent to benefit Southington’s Bread For Life food pantry. HMF Can is supported by Stop & Shop, pick up a free reusable shopping bag as a thanks for your donation; plus, all who donate are entered in a raffle for a gift card from Sauced at Kinsmen.

The race start will be on Canal Street, just south of Kinsmen, with one corral of “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing.

Police and course monitors will be on the course. However, the roads are open to local vehicle travel. Markings & Amenities:
  • Yellow signs with blue arrows mark all turns
  • All mile points are marked on the road and with signs
  • Clocks at finish line and along the course
  • Hydration - Pre/Post Race & Mile 1.5
  • Medical personnel on site
  • Event alert system notifications in the pre-race area and at the water station

POST RACE: 10:15  11:30 AM
Registered participants enjoy fresh pizza from the kitchen at Sauced, next door to the taproom at Kinsmen Brewing Company. Plus, complimentary craft beer for those 21+ years of age with proper ID. 


This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system with timing chip attached to the back of the race bib. Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt. All times are based on NET time (timing mats located at the start and finish).

Preliminary results will be available onsite. Final results will be posted later in the day. RESULTS

Online registration available through race morning. On-site kids' race registration and bib pickup at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent. Kids aged 2-11 can run ¼ mile or ½ mile races, all kids races are $12. All participants receive a finisher's medal and custom race swag. 

All HMF FitKids races will start and finish on the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail, behind Kinsmen.

Custom sweatshirt and adult and youth tees are available through registration and via the HMF Shop until March 8 for pick up on race day. Or, shop in-person at the HMF Merchandise tent on race day, payment by major cards or Apple Pay only, no cash accepted. SHOP NOW 
Event Merchandise
HMF emergency texting is used ONLY in situations such as event delays, cancellations or last-minute event changes to relay pertinent details. We never use this for marketing or solicitation.
