All proceeds from the Shamrocks and Shenanigans event go to Save A Heart. Save A Heart is an organization that raises funds to benefit patients and their families who come to the Michigan Congenital Heart Center at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Highly experienced cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensive care specialists, nurses, social workers, anesthesiologists, and radiologists provide comprehensive care for infants, children, and young adults with congenital heart disease.
Funds raised by Save A Heart support families with travel, lodging, and other expenses. These funds also support clinical research. In a time when more medical costs are being shifted to the patient, one of the goals is to relieve the families’ financial burdens during a very stressful period in their lives.
All 5K entries include custom medals to all finishers! Kids’ 1K finishers also receive a festive medal and ice cream at the finish! Plus, awesome add-on shirt options!
