The Whaling City Tri & Du is one of the most beginner-friendly and spectator-friendly events in New England with a triathlon offering a 0.25 mile swim in the calm waters of Buzzard's Bay, a 11.4 mile bike course CLOSED TO TRAFFIC, a 3.1 mile flat run all along sidewalks and walking paths dominated by views of the water with a fabulous finish in historic Fort Taber Park. There's also a duathlon (run-bike-run) and splash & dash (swim-run) as well as options to be part of the event virtually.
