Noteworthy Day of Jazz Education Workshop

Join BandWith Chicago in partnership with the Noteworthy Jazz Ensemble and the Jazz Institute of Chicago for an engaging day of jazz education, musicianship, and performance designed for experienced student musicians in Grades 6–12. Students will experience a live jazz concert featuring a variety of jazz styles, followed by hands-on instrumental workshops, sectionals, improvisation, and ensemble rehearsal led by professional jazz musicians and educators. The day will provide students with opportunities to strengthen their musicianship, explore jazz performance techniques, develop improvisation skills, and collaborate with experienced musicians. The day will conclude with a collaborative performance featuring Noteworthy and participating students, bringing together the skills and musical experiences developed throughout the workshop.
