Join us for a historic run as we commemorate America’s 250th anniversary with the Inaugural Presidential 5K — a community celebration of endurance, unity, and national pride. This special event brings together students, families, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to honor our nation’s past while investing in its future.
Participants will enjoy a spirited race experience, patriotic festivities, music, and post-race celebrations, all set against the backdrop of a milestone moment in American history. Whether you’re running for personal achievement, community connection, or love of country, the Presidential 5K offers a meaningful way to be part of America’s 250-year legacy.
Any and all net proceeds from this event, after payment of associated expenses, may be used to support the FIU SOAR Initiative through the FIU Foundation, Inc.
7:00am - Check-in Begins - Parkview Housing Room 100
7:45am - Pre-race Warm-up
8:00am - 5K Race Starts - Felsberg Veteran Plaza
This is a timed 5K. All race bibs will have a timing chip.
Pre-registered 5K participants will receive an event t-shirt while supplies last.
All sales are final. No refunds. Rain or shine event.
